Nicole holds a Master of Arts in Clinical Mental Health Counseling from Concordia University Irvine’s Townsend Institute, a CACREP-accredited program. She is currently working toward licensure as a Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC).
Her therapeutic approach is grounded in psychodynamic theory and enhanced by person-centered, trauma-informed, and solution-focused practices. Nicole integrates a variety of evidence-based methods, including Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Internal Family Systems (IFS), Emotionally Focused Therapy (EFT), and mindfulness techniques, to tailor her work to each client’s individual needs.
With over six years of experience providing trauma-informed care to survivors of human trafficking at a non-profit organization, Nicole brings deep empathy and clinical insight to her sessions. Her personal experience in a cross-cultural marriage and in raising two daughters in Shanghai has also shaped her understanding of multicultural relationships and parenting challenges—perspectives she thoughtfully incorporates into her counseling work.
Nicole is passionate about walking alongside clients as they strengthen their mental health, build resilience, pursue personal growth, and develop a lifelong learning mindset
