CCS proudly presents the Shanghai 2024 Youth/Children Choir Festival, a celebration of inspiring choral performances within the Shanghai international community. This festival aims to unite youth choirs, school choirs, and community ensembles in a non-competitive and enriching musical experience focused on the theme of “Songs of Peace and Unity.”
The festival is scheduled for Saturday, May 18th, from 2 PM to 5 PM, hosted at Concordia International School. This event serves as a platform for inter-school exchange, fostering community diversity, and promoting understanding through the universal language of music.
The festival’s central theme, “Songs of Peace and Unity,” underscores the power of music as a healing medium to promote world peace and understanding among young people. Through carefully selected repertoire, including traditional peace anthems, multicultural compositions, and songs promoting empathy, participants will inspire positive change and cross-cultural connections.
