Xingyu has supported clients across the lifespan in various settings (medical, community, mental health, neurodivergent, hospice, assisted living) to find creative solutions to improve their life on physical, psychological, and spiritual levels. She has supported newborns’ medical recovery in the Boston Children’s Hospital, fulfilled neurodivergent children’s developmental and musical needs, provided end-of-life care for families, designed music interventions for pain and anxiety reduction, taught clients how to music for better sleep quality, helped clients find their voice and express their story creatively through songwriting and improvisation. She finds joy in helping people stay connected with hope, creativity, and authenticity in challenging moments. 
She integrates her extensive professional training and personal experiences in psychology, creative arts, neuroscience, psychotherapy, medicine, and philosophy in order to support and help her students, clients, and audiences to identify and connect with their authentic self, actualize their life vision, handle trauma and challenges with resiliency and spontaneity, express their unique voices with freedom and creativity , live with a higher quality of life physically, mentally, and spiritually and transcend paradigms. 
She enjoys co-creating the musical, creative, and conscious community of people who play music for better selves, wellbeing, and world. She has acted as a therapist/consultant to develop innovative music therapy program, such as performance-based music therapy, community music therapy, and environmental music therapy programs.
