She has spent nearly 14 years abroad in China and Japan and has been in Shanghai for about 10 years. Laura’s approach to therapy is primarily a blend of Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, attachment theory, EMDR, and psychodynamic approaches. She has completed levels 1 & 2 training in Gottman Method Couples Therapy and uses this approach in couples’ work. Laura’s client base is mostly made up of people seeking help for depression, anxiety, attachment style, recovery from narcissistic abuse, trauma, personality disorders, and couple’s therapy. Laura aims to create a safe and supportive environment for clients to express themselves and find workable solutions that can be used independently. Her goal is for clients to learn the skills necessary to manage challenges and become the version of themselves that they’ve always wanted to be.
