With a Master’s degree in Psychology and Coaching and as a Graduate Member of the British Psychological Society (Credential ID 687950), Iza brings both academic expertise and heartfelt dedication to her practice. Currently pursuing an MA in Clinical Mental Health Counseling through a CACREP-accredited program, she is committed to expanding her knowledge and skills to better support her clients.
Her approach is deeply rooted in Gestalt therapy, an orientation she is most drawn to. Gestalt therapy is experiential, relational, here-and-now-oriented, culturally responsive, and trauma-informed. This approach often involves mindfulness, somatic/body processes, role-play, enactment, dream work, parts work, and other creative experiments. She integrates these Gestalt methods with various other therapeutic techniques, including Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Somatic EMDR, and Psychodynamic Approaches. Additionally, she is trained in the Gottman Method Couples Therapy (levels 1 and 2) and skilled in Humanistic Approaches. This blend allows her to tailor her techniques to each client’s unique needs.
Her practice addresses a range of issues, including anxiety, stress, relationship challenges, life transitions, and self-esteem. Her mission is to help clients find balance, heal from past experiences, and embrace new possibilities. Through compassionate support and tailored strategies, she aims to reduce emotional distress, enhance well-being, and foster meaningful growth.
