Devin is a psychotherapist with a Master’s degree in Clinical Mental Health Counseling who is deeply interested in how relationships shape our inner lives. Many of her clients come to therapy sensing they are stuck in familiar patterns in relationships, even if they are not yet sure why.
Her approach is relational and emotionally focused, with close attention to how early attachment experiences and family roles continue to influence adult relationships. In therapy, she helps clients gently examine protective strategies that once made sense but may now be keeping them from deeper connection.
Having lived across cultures, Devin understands how differences in family expectations, communication styles, and belonging can shape emotional life and relationships. This awareness informs her work in therapy, where she listens carefully, helps clients recognize relational patterns, and supports them in experiencing emotions more fully and safely.
Her areas of focus include attachment patterns, relationship stress, boundary development, and longstanding family dynamics. She especially enjoys working with LGBTQ+ clients and those who often find themselves in a caretaker role, unsure how to extend the same care to themselves.
Devin believes therapy is most effective when people feel safe, understood, and supported. She offers therapy as a space to loosen old patterns, strengthen emotional security, and build relationships rooted in greater authenticity and self-trust. She works with adults and welcomes clients in both English and Spanish.
